The Black Tower - Part of the Old City Walls Norwich

The Carrow Hill section of the old city walls of Norwich is the most spectacular remaining section. It contains the now ruinous Black Tower which was previously home to the city constable before being used as a pest house to imprison plague sufferers in the 17th century.
